I designed this logo for Admiral when we were just starting out as a company. All I really had to work with was the "nautical" nature of the name the founders picked. I came up with the main arrow shape as I was playing around with pinwheel shapes, and when I showed the cutout circle to the team, we just kind of went with it. Now it's pretty well known and liked around Gainesville. And it weirdly makes sense with our platform and business model (that all came after).
I like to think the center arrow shape is fighting off adblockers to return ad revenue to publishers :)
Freelance logo design for an event marketing software company based in Gainesville, FL. Feathr wanted to update their logo to reflect their culture and brand values—smart, empowering, delightful, friendly. I enjoyed the challenge of incorporating these characteristics into a cleaner, more appropriate aesthetic while maintaining the movement and natural qualities of the feather.
See Feathr's blog post about the change here.
One of my best friends started an Etsy shop for adorable collegiate hair bows and asked me to design her logo and business cards. With such a sophisticated company name, I wanted to try out an edgier, more minimal bow mark than the curvy, girly bow shapes some of her competitors were using. We went with a coral pink and a typeface with a "flirty R” to keep her brand feminine and playful.
